Mission Statement: The SLAPPs Monitor tracks and documents Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation (SLAPPs) and related incidents in Nigeria, to strengthen evidence-based advocacy, and support efforts to protect journalists, activists, human rights defenders and other civic actors from abusive legal action and ultimately strengthen Democracy.
